WHAT WE DO

WHAT WE DO Our Story Research has shown that women are grossly under-represented in the workforce, with 95% of people in the blockchain industry being men, according to the Global Crypto User Index In a study by VC long hash, only 14.5% of blockchain startup team members were women-led. A survey also reports that as of December 2021, only five (or 4.13 percent of the total) of the 121 leading blockchain companies across the globe, were led by women founders. Despite this and against all odds,Women in Blockchain Africa is committed to providing Mentorship, Networking, Incubation and other Programs to support women in the blockchain industry Join us as we onboard more women into the blockchain industry education and training opportunities for women in Africa who are interested in the blockchain industry. Our training and education programs are designed to equip women with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the industry. These programs will cover a wide range of topics, including blockchain startups, finance, security, and more. 1. Mentorship: Women in Blockchain Africa recognizes the importance of mentorship in the development of women in the blockchain industry. ● Our mentorship program will match experienced professionals in the industry with women who are just starting out.
